CNC Machinist
Position Summary
- Diversified Manufacturing is looking for a competent CNC Operator/Machinist to use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately to perform a variety of machining functions
- The CNC Operator Machinist position is responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating a variety of manual and computer numerical control (CNC) machines; maintaining quality, safety standards; and maintaining equipment
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate manual and CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, grinding, milling etc
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc
- Maintains specifications by observing machining operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
- Requirements/ Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:Proven experience as CNC Operator/Machinist
- Skill in operating manual and CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools

Assembler/Laborer

Design Engineering Department Manager
Position Summary
- The Design Engineering Department Manager leads the engineering design team for ASME pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and related process equipment
- The role oversees engineering operations, code compliance, resources, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver safe, cost-effective, high-quality products
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and develop engineering staff while setting goals, performance metrics, priorities, and development plans
- Assign resources to meet project schedules and business needs
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Direct design and analysis for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, separators, and custom process equipment
- Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2, TEMA, API, and customer specifications
- Review and approve calculations, design documents, drawings, bills of material, materials, and related technical decisions
- Maintain and improve engineering standards, design procedures, and best practices
- Support sales and estimating with technical reviews, bids, and proposals
- Coordinate engineering work to meet milestones, budgets, delivery dates, and scope requirements
- Resolve technical project challenges in partnership with project management
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and procurement throughout production
- Resolve fabrication issues and support welding, machining, assembly, testing, and inspection as needed
- Apply design-for-manufacturability principles to engineering deliverables
- Maintain compliance with ASME Code, National Board requirements, and customer specifications
- Support audits, Authorized Inspector reviews, quality systems, and controlled documentation
- Improve engineering quality, productivity, and standardization
- Develop engineering standards, templates, calculation tools, and automation initiatives
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost, shorten lead times, improve efficiency, and evaluate new technologies
- Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
- 10+ years of experience in pressure vessel, heat exchanger, or process equipment design, including 5+ years in engineering leadership
- Strong background in custom-engineered industrial equipment manufacturing and experience working with fabrication, welding, inspection, and quality teams
- Extensive knowledge of ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 and 2, TEMA, API, pressure vessel calculations, heat transfer design, FEA, materials/corrosion, welding, fabrication, and NDE requirements
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software, Compress, PV Elite, Codeware products, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ERP/MRP systems

Quality Technician
Position Summary
- The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and related components meet all applicable quality standards, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements
- This role supports inspection, testing, and documentation processes in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), customer specifications, and internal quality systems
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on raw materials, fabricated components, weldments, and finished assemblies
- Verifies compliance with ASME BPVC, customer specifications, and internal quality standards
- Inspects welds for conformance using visual inspection techniques and assist with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as PT, MT, UT, and RT
- Reviews material certifications (MTRs) and ensure proper traceability of materials throughout the manufacturing process
- Conducts in-process inspections during fabrication stages including cutting, forming, welding, machining, and assembly
- Maintains inspection and test records, including inspection reports, logs, and documentation required for data books and customer turnover packages
- Identifies nonconformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Supports pressure testing activities (hydrostatic and pneumatic) and verify results meet code and project requirements
- Performs internal audits and support external audits from customers or regulatory bodies
- Collaborates with engineering, welding supervisors, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Ensures compliance with safety requirements and quality procedures on the shop floor
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in welding, manufacturing, or quality preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, preferably involving pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or heavy industrial equipment
- Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII preferred)
- Familiarity with welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW) and weld inspection requirements
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, P&IDs, weld maps, and fabrication documents
- Proficiency with inspection and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges)
- Knowledge of NDT methods and inspection techniques
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Understanding of material traceability, heat numbers, and certification requirements
- Familiarity with quality tools such as root cause analysis, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Effective communication skills to interact with shop personnel, engineers, and inspectors

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages and directs the daily activities of the Quality function and team
- Provides leadership and supervision for quality assurance support to ensure that product is manufactured in accordance with customer and company quality requirements
- Exhibits strong knowledge in all facets of ISO 9001 2015 regulations and fulfills all application and documentation requirements to provide key performance indicators to overall performance
- Interacts with other key aspects of the business, e.g., Sales, Engineering and Operations and reviews, assists and reports on various Quality issues or requirements
- Represents the Quality system in all aspects, including customer, other internal departments, and senior management
- Oversees ISO 9001 2015 Quality Certification, auditing process and required cataloguing of information

- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities with the ability to work with other departments to successfully handle quality production issues
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, ERP System (JobBoss), and documentation software (Docuware)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to successfully interact with other departments, customers, and suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others, motivate employees and enhance change management
